| St John Truck & Trailer Service was originally established in 1945 by Ivan St John, as a combined service station and vehicle repair shop. As the business grew over the years, truck repair and maintenance were included, and these services gradually became a major portion of the business.
When Nicholas (“Nick”) Noppert purchased the business in 1984, St John’s began to focus exclusively on the heavy truck and commercial vehicle market. In 2003, a modern 32,000 sq. ft. facility was constructed that provides state-of-the-art repair / maintenance capability. There are eight large service bays for tractors and fixed trucks, and five full-length trailer bays, plus a fabrication shop. The facility also houses an automatic truck wash bay — one of the few in West Michigan. This is a convenient service for our customers, as well as an attractive feature for drivers in-route.
Today, St John’s is experiencing the growth that results from a full-service facility intent on providing complete satisfaction to a solid customer base. We believe this is the best formula for success. |
